Laser Profile Cutting
Laser cutting is a modern industrial process in which high-powered lasers are used to rapidly cut and shape flat sheet metal. It is a highly precise process with little heat distortion of the sheet parts. Set-up times are low and productivity high when cutting both thick and thin sheets.
3000mm x 1500mm Large sheets of flat metal can be cut with remarkable precision and unparalleled levels of accuracy, the CNC controlled cutting allows for the creative and most complex profile design to be cut with ease and accuracy. Our offline 3D and 2D programming systems allow us to programme machine to your exact profile and nest this for the best utilisation of material.
Phoenix Hull will happily quote for Laser Profiling and Bending, Once in receipt of your technical drawings (.dxf, .dwg and .step) desired material aluminium, mild steel or stainless steel and quantities, our laser sales team email@example.com will discuss the best options for you and be in touch with a quote.
From receipt of order we can ensure accurate tracking of you parts through to collection or delivery using Sigmatek MRP.
We have option for payment on account or by any leading credit/debit card using Worldpay.
Profiling and Forming BS EN 1090-1:2009/A1:2011
From 1st August 2019, Phoenix Hull can provide Laser Profiled and Bent Steel Products under an accredited Factory Production Control (FPR) certificate audited to conform with BS EN 1090-1:2009/A1:2011 standard for components up to EXC 3.
BS EN 1090-1 requires the customer to confirm if the job needs to be CE compliant at enquiry stage. This enables us to ensure the correct administration and processes are followed to ensure the parts are compliant for use within projects which require CE Marking.
As of 1st July 2014, CE Marking became mandatory for all traders of fabricated structural steelwork and related products on the European market.
Press Brake Bending
Phoenix Hull have on site metal folding capabilities that can be used with or without our Laser Profiling Service. Our Machine is a Bystronic PR 150×3100 press brake capable of exerting a bending force of up to 150 tons across a maximum length of three meters.
With extensive experience in folding and forming Mild Steel, aluminium and stainless steel in to various profiles, containers, enclosures, cases and brackets.
We have a comprehensive range of tooling available allowing various thickness of material to be folded. The machine can also perform hemming operations, so the material can be over folded and flattened providing a safety edge, limited to 1.5mm thick and under materials.
As with the Laser we can offline programme our Press Brake in 3D, this allows complex bending parts to be visually checked, the bending sequence advised and make the process of folding parts a lot quicker.
Fabrication is the process used to assemble, join and weld metal materials to form a component.
We custom engineer and fabricate steel platform systems for access in industrial and manufacturing environments, also our skilled metal fabricating technicians are capable of creating many different industrial products and components to both our own and customer designs.
Phoenix Hull can offer this service on its own or as part of a more comprehensive suit of operations, please enquire using firstname.lastname@example.org.
Using our sister company Aztec Coatings Ltd, Phoenix Hull can offer ISO 9001 accredited powder coating system, with conversion coating pre-treatment, a large capacity box oven (7m x 3m x 3m) an extensive range of RAL and BS powders in polyester, epoxy, thermo-plastic & low bake.
Assembly & Fitting
It’s not just individual components that we are able to supply as we offer a finishing and assembly service for many projects. Metal component finishing and assembly is an efficient approach for any customer as it saves our clients time and money through the provision of a single point of purchase.
From a small cash scoop to a multi chute system for a sorting warehouse we can assembly it all, we offer this service separately or as part of a more comprehensive suit of operations, please enquire using email@example.com.
Each project can be fully customised, according to the needs and requirements of each customer and use or assembly team to co-ordinate other services be it riveting, bonding and crating. We also offer zinc plating and galvanizing via a network of reliable subcontractors.
